About Me
I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1996 with a masters of arts degree in Clinical Psychology. After graduating, I returned to Modesto and worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Intern for two years in a group home for teens. I went on to work for the Center for Human Services in their school based program where I primarily counseled children and families. I was also part of a multi-disciplinary team through the schools where I gained experience with IEPs, school resources, and working with school and county educational systems. Upon completion of 3000 hours of clinical experience and passing the State Boards, I became licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences in 2004. Shortly after, I established a private practice in Modesto. I enjoy working in private practice in that it provides me the ability to continue working with a broad spectrum of clients and utilize my clinical skills in a variety of different ways. Working with couples, families, teenagers, and children is very rewarding. I enjoy the flexibility and ability to provide the best services possible to individuals and families who want to be in therapy.
